For IT & software services
HRMS software for IT and software services companies
Kuzhu is HR and payroll software for Indian IT and software services companies: hybrid and work-from-home attendance rules set per person, appraisal cycles that close with increment letters, TDS with investment declarations and both regimes, and payroll that settles notice-period recovery and leave encashment correctly at exit. Recruitment, onboarding, laptops and GST invoicing sit on the same employee record, so the cost of a project and the bill for it live in one place.

What month end looks like in it & software services
Attendance that means three things
One team is in the office, one is hybrid three days a week, one is at a client site in another city. The policy lives in an email thread, and the month end muster is whoever HR remembers to ask.
Appraisals that never quite close
Goals are set in a deck in April, ratings are argued over in a spreadsheet in March, and increment letters go out in May with numbers that do not match what payroll was told the week before.
Exit is a week of reconciliation
Notice-period recovery, leave encashment, the laptop, the pending expense claim and the last TDS all live with different people, so a full and final settlement takes a week and still gets a query from the person who left.
With Kuzhu
How the modules answer it
Every module reads the same employee record, so nothing below is an integration; it is one system seen from four sides.
Hybrid rules per person, not per company
Office, hybrid and remote policies are assigned per employee or team, with web and GPS-tagged mobile punch, so the person at the client site and the person at home are judged by the rule that applies to them, not a company average.
Attendance module
Appraisal cycles that run on a timetable
Goals with weights, self and manager reviews, calibration across teams and increment recommendations that flow into salary revisions and letters, with every cycle kept on the record for the next promotion conversation instead of the last month’s memory.
Performance Management module
TDS the way a salaried team needs it
Investment declarations collected with windows and reminders, proofs verified before the last quarter, old and new regime per employee, Form 24Q each quarter and Form 16 by 15 June, all from the same run as the payslips.
Payroll module
The invoice next to the people who earned it
GST-ready invoices, receivables ageing and client and project-wise billing views kept beside salary cost, so the question of whether a project made money is answered from one system rather than from two exports and a pivot table.

Questions it & software services teams ask on the first call
Can different teams have different attendance rules?
Yes. Attendance policies are assigned per employee, team or location, so a support team on shifts, a delivery team that is hybrid and a sales team on the road each have their own rule. Work-from-home days can be scheduled or requested, and the muster shows which rule judged each day.
Does it handle the notice period and F&F correctly?
Full and final settlement computes the last salary, notice-period recovery or payout, leave encashment under your policy, pending expense claims and the final TDS in one run, and the asset module lists what the person still holds. The settlement sheet and the relieving letter come from the same record.
We invoice clients for people’s time. Does that connect?
The invoicing module keeps GST invoices, payments and receivables by client and project next to the salary cost of the people on that project. It is not a timesheet-to-invoice engine; it is billing and people cost in one place, exportable to your accounting system. It is included on the Enterprise plan.
Our engineers are in Bengaluru, Pune and Hyderabad. Does professional tax follow them?
Yes. Professional tax is applied by the employee’s work location, not the company’s registered address, so the Karnataka, Maharashtra and Telangana slabs are each deducted where they apply, and nothing is deducted for someone in Delhi or Gurugram. Holiday calendars can also differ per branch.
