HRMS software for logistics and transport companies
Kuzhu is HR and payroll software for Indian logistics, transport and warehousing companies: GPS-tagged mobile punch at hubs, depots and on the road, 24×7 rosters for warehouse and dispatch teams, drivers, loaders and contractor staff on one muster, and payroll with trip allowances, night allowances and overtime as components computed in the run, alongside PF, ESI for staff within ₹21,000 and professional tax by the state of each hub.

Who was at which hub
Drivers punch nowhere, loaders sign a register at the depot, and the office staff use a biometric machine. Three sources, three formats, and a payroll clerk who reconciles them from photographs sent on the second of the month.

How the modules answer it
Every module reads the same employee record, so nothing below is an integration; it is one system seen from four sides.

Punch at the hub or on the road
GPS-tagged punch from the phone for drivers and field staff, biometric at the warehouse gate, and a live view of who is in at which hub. Regularisation requests from the app replace the call to the branch manager.
Mobile App module
Rosters for the night shift and the peak
Rotating shifts, week-off patterns and night shifts assigned per hub and team, published to phones before the week starts, and every punch judged against that shift, so overtime and night allowances are captured, not estimated.
Shifts & Rosters module
Trip allowances as components, not cash
Trip, night-halt and loading allowances entered or imported per trip and computed in the run with overtime, PF, ESI and professional tax, so the payslip shows what was actually paid and the bank file matches it to the rupee.
Payroll module
Drivers, loaders and contractor staff on one record
Every person has an employment type and a hub, so headcount, PF and ESI coverage and the registers per depot cover own staff and contractor workers alike, and a transfer between hubs is one dated edit on the record.

Questions logistics & transport teams ask on the first call
Drivers are on the road for days. How do they punch?
From the app, with GPS, wherever they are, and the punch is tagged with where it was made. If a trip means no punch for two days, a regularisation request from the driver or the branch, approved by the manager, fills the gap with a reason on the record. Nobody phones the office.
Can trip allowances be paid through payroll?
Yes. Trip, night-halt and loading allowances are pay components you define, with the month’s figures entered or imported per person and approved before the run. They appear on the payslip as their own lines, are taxed correctly and go out in the bank file with salary, so imprest cash stops.
Our staff work under the Motor Transport Workers Act. Does the system know?
The hours, rest and overtime rules for transport workers are set as attendance and shift policies, not assumed, so the daily and weekly limits and the overtime rate you are subject to are what the system applies. Where a warehouse falls under the Factories Act instead, that site gets its own policy.
We have hubs in six states. What changes per state?
Professional tax, labour welfare fund and holiday calendars are set per branch from its state, so a hub in Gujarat deducts Gujarat professional tax and a hub in Delhi deducts none. Head office sees every hub in one report, and an employee moved between hubs carries the same record.
