For construction & real estate
HRMS software for construction and real estate companies
Kuzhu is HR and payroll software for Indian construction and real estate companies: GPS-tagged mobile punch for engineers and supervisors at every site, a biometric device at the site office for workers, contractor workers on the same muster as your own staff, wage and muster registers per site, and payroll with PF, ESI where wages are within ₹21,000 and overtime computed in the run. Head office sees every site the same day instead of a week later.

What month end looks like in construction & real estate
Every site has its own muster
The site engineer keeps a register, the contractor keeps another, and head office gets a photograph of both on the third of the month. By the time the sheet is reconciled, the site has moved on to the next floor.
Contract labour outside the system
Most of the workforce comes through contractors, so PF and ESI coverage, the number of workers on each site and the registers the labour department asks for depend on what the contractor chooses to share, and when.
Staff who are never at head office
Engineers, supervisors and sales staff are on sites and in showrooms across the city. Leave is agreed on a call, expense claims arrive in an envelope, and payroll finds out about a transfer a month late.
With Kuzhu
How the modules answer it
Every module reads the same employee record, so nothing below is an integration; it is one system seen from four sides.
One muster across sites
GPS-tagged mobile punch for engineers and supervisors, a biometric device at the site office for workers, and a live view of who is on which site today. Late marks, half days and overtime follow the policy set per site.
Attendance module
Contractor workers on your record
Contract workers recorded with their contractor and site as employees of a different type, so headcount by site, PF and ESI coverage checks and the muster and wage registers cover everyone, not only the people on your own payroll.
Employees & Org Structure module
Site expenses from the phone
Receipts photographed on site, claims checked against category limits before an approver sees them, advances issued and settled against claims, and reimbursement through payroll or a payout, with the trail your auditor asks for.
Expenses & Reimbursements module
Registers per site when the inspector visits
Muster roll, wage register and overtime register produced per site from the same data as the payslips, with appointment letters and contractor details on file, so a visit from the labour department is a printout, not a project.

Questions construction & real estate teams ask on the first call
Workers move between sites every week. How does that work?
A worker’s site is recorded with a date, and a transfer is one edit that the muster, wage register and headcount follow from that day. Reports by site list the people who actually worked there that month, and the GPS tag on each punch shows where it was made.
Can contractors see and manage their own workers?
Access is role-based, so a contractor or their supervisor can be given a login scoped to their own workers and site, to view attendance and raise corrections, without seeing your staff or anyone’s salary. Whether they get that access at all is your decision, not a default.
What about BOCW registration and cess?
The Building and Other Construction Workers Act asks employers to register establishments, keep records of construction workers and pay the welfare cess on the cost of construction. Kuzhu keeps the worker records and registers; the registration and the cess payment remain with your compliance team, and we would rather say that plainly.
Does overtime work like a factory?
Overtime hours beyond the rostered day are captured per person and paid at the rate you configure for the grade and site. Construction sites are generally governed by the BOCW Act and state rules rather than the Factories Act, so the rate is a setting, not an assumption. The hours show on the payslip.
