Mobile App
software for Indian businesses

The whole employee side of Kuzhu fits in a phone: GPS-tagged punch in, leave application with live balances, payslip download, expense claims with the receipt photographed on the spot, and approvals for managers in the queue. Half of most companies never opens a laptop — this is their Kuzhu.

Why it exists

What mobile looks like when it works.

The mobile HR app is where an HRMS meets the ninety percent of employees who will never open the web application. Kuzhu’s app covers the daily verbs: punch in with GPS, apply for leave in two taps, check balances, download payslips, see the shift schedule and the holiday calendar, raise requests and read announcements — designed for someone standing on a shop floor, not sitting at a desk.

Managers carry their half of the system in the same app: the approval inbox across leave, expenses, corrections and requests; the team’s attendance today; and the roster they can adjust when reality disagrees with the plan. Push notifications close the loop — a request approved, a payslip published, a shift changed — so the app is informative even when unopened.

For field and factory workforces the app is the attendance infrastructure: GPS-tagged punches with optional geo-fencing and selfie capture, working on ordinary phones over ordinary networks. Every screen respects the same permissions as the web — people see exactly their own slice of the company, wherever they see it from.

The outcome

“The field team is on the same system as the head office.”

What mobile does, specifically

Start

01

Punch with GPS and selfie options, per your policy

02

Leave, expenses and requests filed in under a minute

03

Payslips and tax sheets, downloadable

Outcome

How it works

From set-up to running, in 5 steps.

Most teams have this live inside the first month — the workspace exists on day one, and week three is a parallel run against whatever you use today.

Step 01Implementation

Punch from anywhere policy allows

GPS-tagged clock in and out, geo-fenced where sites demand it, with selfie capture where identity matters.

Next phase
Step 02Implementation

Handle leave in two taps

Balances visible, dates picked, impact shown, submitted — and the approval arrives as a push, not a corridor question.

Next phase
Step 03Implementation

Carry your documents

Payslips, letters and the policy library, downloadable at the bank counter where they are suddenly needed.

Next phase
Step 04Implementation

Approve on the move

The manager inbox with context — decide in the taxi, not next Tuesday.

Next phase
Step 05Implementation

Stay informed by default

Announcements, shift changes and approvals arrive as notifications, in the channel people actually check.

Worth a closer look

The questions that usually decide the deal.

01Buyer question

Built for the shop floor, not the boardroom demo

The answer

The design constraint is a supervisor with two minutes and one thumb. The daily actions sit on the first screen; forms pre-fill everything the system already knows; and low-bandwidth behaviour is graceful — a punch queued offline lands when the network returns, timestamped from the device. Adoption is the feature: an HRMS employees do not open is a payroll system with extra steps.

02Buyer question

Security that travels

The answer

The app carries the same role-based permissions, session controls and sensitive-data rules as the web. A lost phone is a revoked session, not a breach; biometric app-lock adds a local barrier; and nothing sensitive caches beyond its welcome. IT gets one policy that covers both surfaces instead of a mobile exception.

Yes, with the same capabilities: punch, leave, payslips, approvals, schedules and announcements.

Punches queue offline and sync when connectivity returns, timestamped from the device at the moment of punch.

Yes — the full approval inbox with context, across every module, with push notifications on new requests.

Only where your policy says so — office-network, geo-fence, or trusted-anywhere are per-person settings.
