Expense claim
An expense claim is an employee's request to be reimbursed for a business expense, with the receipt, category and amount, routed for approval.
A claim carries the receipt image, date, category, amount and a reason. Policy rules check limits before a manager sees it; approval follows the same chain as leave or purchases.
Settled claims post to payroll or to a payout and to the accounting export.
In Indian payroll
Employees paying company costs out of pocket for six weeks is a quiet attrition driver. A two-day claim-to-settlement time is a realistic target once claims are digital.
