Requisition
A requisition is the approved request to hire for a position, stating the role, grade, budget and reason, before a job is published.
The hiring manager raises it, finance and leadership approve it through the workflow, and only then does the recruiter open the job. It ties headcount planning to actual hiring.
Replacement and new-position requisitions are usually distinguished.
