Salary register
The salary register, or muster-cum-wage register, is the statutory record of every employee's earnings, deductions and net pay for each month.
It is the master record behind the payslips and the source of the PF, ESI and PT registers. Labour inspectors and auditors ask for it first.
Under the Ease of Compliance rules the combined Form B register replaces several older registers.
