Performance
KPIKey Performance Indicator
A KPI is a measurable value that shows how well an individual, team or company is achieving a goal, such as revenue per month or attrition rate.
Good KPIs have a number, a period, a target and a source. In performance management they sit under KRAs; in HR analytics they are the headline metrics of the function.
Too many KPIs are the same as none.
In Indian payroll
HR's own KPIs (attrition, time-to-hire, payroll accuracy, absenteeism) are only trustworthy when they come from the system of record rather than a monthly spreadsheet.
