POSHPrevention of Sexual Harassment
POSH refers to the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace Act, 2013, which requires every employer with 10 or more employees to have an Internal Committee, a policy, training and an annual report.
The Internal Committee, chaired by a senior woman with an external member, receives complaints, inquires within 90 days and recommends action. The employer files an annual report with the district officer.
Awareness sessions for all staff and orientation for the committee are required.

Non-compliance carries fines and licence consequences. HR should track committee composition, training dates and the annual report as compliance items with due dates.
