Statutory
Compliance calendar
A payroll compliance calendar is the list of statutory due dates for the year: PF and ESI by the 15th, TDS by the 7th, quarterly 24Q, half-yearly ESI returns, PT and LWF on state schedules.
It lists what is due, to whom, by when, with the penalty for missing it. The monthly rhythm is TDS on the 7th, then PF and ESI on the 15th; quarterly and annual items sit around it.
Most companies keep it as a shared calendar with reminders three days ahead.
